Dr. John Stahl-Wert
“John is the foremost leadership instructor and teacher in my leadership development. No leader is self-made. His training impacted me to the core. John’s five-point leadership model fed my hungry mind as a long-term student. His Mennonite roots and grasp of Anabaptist history and theology were indispensable to me as a student and writer. Like no other person, John provided me with the building blocks for the leadership content I’m producing today. Even more so, John’s love and encouragement reached my heart along with his unshakeable belief that I could write when I was quite sure I should quit.”
Dr. John Stahl-Wert is the Founder of Center for Serving Leadership. He has pioneered training solutions for twenty-five years, working with organizations around the world that want to produce outstanding results by investing in their people.
He has written eight books, including the international best-sellers, The Serving Leader and Ten Thousand Horses. He has coached executives in Progress Rail (a Caterpillar Company), Pan Pacific Hotel Group (Singapore), Honda’s North American Lean Network, Veterans Administration, as well as hundreds of businesses in the U.S., Singapore, and Hong Kong.
John served as president of Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation, created the international training institute for Leadership Foundations, and birthed half a dozen social-sector organizations in Pittsburgh, including PULSE, Amachi Pittsburgh, City as Parish, and The Union Project.
