Pioneer Equipment is an Amish-owned original equipment manufacturer (OEM) in the metal fabrication industry. The company was founded by Wayne Wengerd in 1978 and is located in Dalton, Ohio. Currently his seven sons and one daughter own and operate the business. They employ third-generation family members along with forty other dedicated employees. The business started with building horse-drawn farm equipment and has since added Pioneer Carriage, Custom Fabrication, and Flextur™.
